5 days (Monday to Friday) away, in a lovely coattage (http://www.booking.com/Share-Hwkn6M) nestled in the Brecon Beacons just when the autumn colours are starting to really kick off. We will be doing routes of the newly re-established heritage route ‘The St Thomas Way’ which has been re-imagined as a series of short circular walks. (More info at Thomasway.ac.uk) the routes we have an option of tackling are Patrishow, Abergavenny, Raglan, Usk, Longtown and Hereford - there may also be a chance of doing two in one day depending on weather and speed and for those who fancy something longer the Brecons have many walks on offer. The weather has been extremely mild in October the last few years but rain and cold is always a possibility, the walks on the way are mainly short however and there’s the roaring fire to return to. Cost for the week will be £536 divided between how many of us there are which is up to 10 (12 if we have couples/ people willing to share) a deposit of £30 is needed to confirm your place. Please contact me for payment details. This walk has been advertised to other young ramblers groups too, so maybe a chance to meet other like-minded people from around the country.
: We will arrange cars / I’ll send cottage address to those who have paid full amount nearer the time
