including the latest guidelines on physical distancing. For more information about COVID-19 and Ramblers group walks, please
see our guidance for walkers on the coronavirus pages of the Ramblers website here.
In order to minimise the risk as far as possible we have have also published guidance for members here.
Do not attend if you have any symptoms of Corona Virus.
If you are unable to attend, please cancel your booking so that someone else can take your place. Please do not turn up
for a walk without booking, as we will have to turn you away.
For your safety, we request that you avoid car sharing, and it is recommended that you bring hand sanitizer to reduce the
risk of infection after touching gates/stiles etc.
A relatively flat route along the first 17 miles of the Test Way. It starts from Inkpen Hill and goes across fields and woodland before dropping down to the river Test and tracking it along to Longparish. This is not a circular route. We will meet at Longparish, leave some cars there and drive the 30 mins to the start at Inkpen Hill. Please therefore note the earlier start time which will give us time to sort cars and get going. Please bring lunch, water and some money; there are pubs along the way and, time allowing, we may stop to quench the thirst. While a long way, it isn’t too hilly so good for anyone looking to build miles.
: Londis, Longparish. SP11 6QX
: Train may be possible to stations at Whitchurch or Hungerford.
There is street parking only in Longparish so will leave as few cars as possible.
