Have you been wondering what walking is all about? Or waiting for a short walk to try out? Discover an open green space with us in the middle of four conurbations. This walk takes in the peace and tranquility of the upper Hamble, with just a nod to the outdoor organised chaos of a country park as we loop through it at the far extent of the walk.
We will walk from Botley anticlockwise, through a bit of Hedge End, south to River Hamble Country Park, then north back to Botley by a slightly more scenic route.
This walk is very quite flat, and includes areas of forest and footpaths across fields, so boots are recommended if you have them, but good trainers will be OK as long as it is dry.
There won't be a lunch stop on this walk, but we'll have a few snack stops as required. So bring snacks and plenty of water.
