Your First Walk?

East Wight

Sunday 26th June 2022 @ 10:00 12.0 miles

: Moderate
: Yes
: Tim B
: 07796 371694
Please note that the meet time is at Ryde. The east end of the Isle Of Wight is an oft-overlooked gem. A mixture of rolling hills, dramatic cliffs and golden sandy beaches gives this walk something for everyone. The Island has long been a strategic location, and there is evidence of this history throughout the walk. From Ryde pier we will get the train to Brading and start the walk by heading up to Culver Down. From there we follow the coast anticlockwise, keeping the sea on our right back to Ryde. If you find the sea is on your left you're going the wrong way or you just got your feet wet!
: Ryde Esplanade Station.
: Use the passenger ferry or hovercraft from Portsmouth. Meet time is at Ryde
