Due to COVID-19, we all need to take extra steps to stay safe. Please follow all safety advice given by the walk leader,
including the latest guidelines on physical distancing. For more information about COVID-19 and Ramblers group walks, please
see our guidance for walkers on the coronavirus pages of the Ramblers website here.
In order to minimise the risk as far as possible we have have also published guidance for members here.
Do not attend if you have any symptoms of Corona Virus.
If you are unable to attend, please cancel your booking so that someone else can take your place. Please do not turn up
for a walk without booking, as we will have to turn you away.
For your safety, we request that you avoid car sharing, and it is recommended that you bring hand sanitizer to reduce the
risk of infection after touching gates/stiles etc.
We start at Winchester train-station heading first north picking up the 'Allan Kings Way' & 'St Swithun's' Way before doing a loop in the Itchen Valley area passing through the village of Easton before coming back on ourselves mostly along the 'Itchen Way'. Pub stop either in Easton or at the end depending on numbers. This is a very pretty walk and flat, making it suitable for new members but be aware that it can get muddy. If you are a new member and wish to join, please contact me to be booked on.
