We're taking an opportunity to sneak across the border into Wiltshire for a scenic 12 mile walk which is steeped in history. We'll start on top of Pepperbox hill, then walk north to skirt East Grinstead, before some forest walking to West Dean. We'll climb Dean Hill before lunch. After lunch we head south for Whiteparish, before heading back to Pepperbox Hill. COVID-19 Due to COVID-19, we all need to take extra steps to stay safe. Please follow all safety advice given by the walk leader, including the latest guidelines on physical distancing. For more information about COVID-19 and Ramblers group walks, please see our guidance for walkers on the coronavirus pages of the Ramblers website. Do not attend if you have any symptoms of Corona Virus. If you are unable to attend, please cancel your booking so that someone else can take your place. Please do not turn up for a walk without booking, as we will have to turn you away. For your safety, we request that you avoid car sharing, and it is recommended that you bring hand sanitizer to reduce the risk of infection after touching gates/stiles etc.

: From the M27, take the A36 towards Salisbury. The Pepperbox is signposted on the right (it's just north of WhiteParish), but it's a horrible turning coming from the south. I suggest you carry on to Whaddon and turn right to get on the A36 again heading south. It's then the second lane on the left.
