A leisurely walk leaving the town via the Palace remains and Railway Line trail, then heading west along the Pilgrim’s Trail and route of a Roman Road before turning back to Bishop’s Waltham for a drink in a nearby pub. The route mostly runs through fields and along rural tracks.
