This is a walk with a difference. 27 miles over 2 days, which means we'll be carrying camping gear, food and anything else you think you'll need! Good boots and rucksacks are a must for this walk. For logistical reasons you have to book onto this walk, and I've limited it to 12 places which is 3 cars of 4 people. Contact me directly if it's fully booked and you want to come, there may be some flexibility.
The first day of the walk will start in Bridport, from there we'll walk along the coast and start the ridgeway at West Bexington. The ridgeway passes Abbotsbury, a stone circle, and Hell Stone, from where we'll walk south into Portesham and set up camp for the night. The first day is 13.5 miles with a total ascent of 1350ft
On the second day, we'll head up to Hardy's Monument and onto the Ridgeway, past Maiden Castle and Chalbury hill forts, into OsmingtonMills. The second day is 13 miles with a total ascent on 1560ft.
Accommodation will be about £16 per pitch (payable mid March).
