A scenic walk through woods, hills and villages to the west of the River Test. We'll start in Bentley Wood, a nationally important site for butterflies, heading northwards and then eastwards towards the Broughton Down nature reserve, returning via West Tytherley where we'll stop for a drink at a 17th century pub.

: The car park is about 500m up a track, accessed from Scouts Lane between West Dean (half way between Romsey and Salisbury) and The Common.
