Starting from the sleepy village of Walderton, we follow the Monarch's Way towards Stoughton. Leaving Stoughton, we'll continue on the Monarch's Way towards Stoughton Down, where we turn right towards Bow Hill and Kingley Vale. One of my favourite countryside areas, Kingley Vale is famous for its collection of ancient yew trees, which recently starred in David Attenborough's 'Wild Isles' series. From Kingley Vale, we'll make our way downhill back towards Walderton.
: Parking area just inside Breakneck Lane after B2146 junction
: From A27, follow A259 to Emsworth, then follow B2148, B2147 and B2146 towards Compton/South Harting. Parking is immediately after turning into Breakneck Lane, opposite the Walderton village sign.
