A circular walk in the New Forest starting from Ashurst train station and heading south across Matley Heath into woodland, with a lunch stop about halfway round in Denny Inclosure. The route continues across more heathland, skirting past Beaulieu Road train station, returning via Churchplace Inclosure to our start point for a drink at the New Forest pub. Please wear appropriate shoes as the ground may be boggy/muddy in places and bring a packed lunch.
: Ashurst New Forest Train Station car park. Parking is free, although spaces are limited, so, if not arriving by train, please consider car-sharing. Alternative free car park at 189 Lyndhurst Road, a 5-10 minute walk east of the station.
