Meeting at Sandown station then, we'll walk towards Ashey station for lunch. After this we'll walk to Ryde via Quarr for a pub/tea stop later. Note limited Facilities en route and bring sufficient food/fluids. There is parking at Sandown station or near Portsmouth ferry terminals. : Catch the 0915 ferry from Portsmouth Harbour station WightLink FastCat terminal to Ryde then take the Island Line train to Sandown arriving at 10:07; or catch the 0930 hovercraft from Southsea to Ryde and transfer to the Island Line train arriving at Sandown at 10:24.
