A long circular walk starting in the village of Vernham Dean.
The route is undulating with some steep uphill’s and nice views of the Hampshire/ Berkshire countryside.
We’ll follow sections of the Pewsey Vale Circular Way and Test Way, pass through 5 woodlands (hopefully with bluebells in flower!) and the villages of Combe, Linkenholt and Upton.
Please bring lots of water, snacks and a packed lunch. We’ll have breaks as needed and lunch will be around mile 7. Including breaks, the walk is likely to take 7.5 hours.
We’ll go for a very well-deserved drink at the end at The George Inn in the village.
If you would like to stay for dinner at 6.30pm please also book on to the meal so I can organise pre-ordering.
: Park and meet in the carpark besides Vernham Dean Playing Fields and Vernham Dean Gillum’s Church of England Primary School. Please consider car sharing.
