Inspired by a folk song of the same name (although the song was about Scotland), this 8 night trip away will take in some of the most beautiful but hidden landscape in England. We so often drive around Shropshire when going on trips away, that I thought we should spend some time there.
We'll explore the area around the Long Mynd and Shewsbury, and get out to Offa's dyke. We won't walk every day, there will probably be 2 lay days, dependant on how we all feel at the time.
Accomodation is in a Youth Hostel (YHA Bridges) and will be £176 each based on a shared dormatory. There is also an option to camp (either at the hostel or nearby). Details will be confirmed nearer the time.

: The easiest way to the hostel is to drive into Church Stretton, then across the Long Mynd to Ratlinghope, then turn left towards Bridges.
