Starting at the 11th century Castle in Corfe Castle, we'll head south to the coast, follow the coastpath to Swanage, then head inland again. This is a walk steeped in history, and has numerous great views along Dorset's Jurassic coast. This is a tough walk, but don't let that put you off (there are options to escape back to civilisation at several points). Please bring a packed lunch, snacks and plenty of water. We will have lunch at Seacombe Cliff, and we'll visit the pub in Langton Matravers before we get to the last significant hill on the walk. The total ascent is 3200ft. Please car share where possible, and don't all park in front of the Greyhound! There are various car parks around Corfe Castle.
: The Greyhound Inn, Corfe Castle
: Follow the signs to Corfe Castle. The Greyhound is in the village just south of the castle.
